Who are we?  Brit Willie, a chef born in Louisville, KY; educated in London, England, is a previous winner of the prestigious Reno Rib Cook-Off.  His partner in life and in cooking, Evelyn, relocated from Austin, TX a couple of years ago. 

 

Our shared passion for superb barbecue and Southern comfort food led us to ask, "Got barbecue?" everywhere we visited in the Pacific Northwest, and inspired us to open Brit Willie's BBQ here in Eugene.  

  

Our succulent slow smoked meats, fresh homemade sides, and decadent desserts will stand out among the sweetest, most sultry flavors in the  Willamette Valley, and will delight even the most discriminating palates.  

                                                                                                                                           

You can't miss our kitchen on wheels and one-of-a-kind custom smoker at 4110 West 11th Avenue in West Eugene, right next to the Meineke Car Center.

From award winning baby back ribs, sliced-to-order beef brisket, and perfectly smoked poultry; to homestyle green beans, coleslaw, and red potato salad with dill; to double dark chocolate fudge brownies and warm fruit cobbler a la mode, we have something to satisfy any craving.  Don't forget to try our "Almost Famous" Blueberry Lemonade - a refreshingly sweet/tart flavor signature.

We start our day with recipes that have been handed down with love, and we prepare them just as we were taught, always from scratch, using fresh, locally and regionally sourced ingredients whenever possible.   With homemade sauces and all the fixin's, Brit Willie's generous portions will satisfy any appetite.   Our family packs and tailgate parties to go are sure crowd pleasers!
